This week went by pretty quickly! 

The Highlight of this week and the reason for the title was what happened on Wednesday!

So we've been trying to get Célio and Gilmara married for a little while now, well we got all of their documents together and went to the government agency on Wednesday! It was going great until the lady that was helping us came back and showed us went wrong. On Célio's birth certificate (his full name is Josicélio) his name is spelled with 2 S's (Jossicélio). Turns out that his dad didn't like his name having 2 s's so célio has been told all his life his name had 1 s.🤦 All of his documents have one s except his birth certificate. Well, we then spent 3 hours running around to different government agencies, only to be told that the first place was the only place that could fix everything...🫠🫠 We later talked with members that work at similar agencies and they have a way of getting everything fixed within a week, the other way would've taken 3 -5 months🫠🫠

This week was a short email, but just know that the work continues and that my Portuguese is coming along, I'm starting to understand more so that's good!
